These bioart pieces explore self-portraiture through the unseen microorganisms that exist on and around my body. Using samples taken from my own body and surroundings, I allowed the bacteria to naturally grow and develop, creating unpredictable colours, textures and patterns that represent a hidden, living part of my identity.
